Wandering through the local Saturday Night Shine and Show last night I spotted this (shown in Thumbnail at the bottom of this post). Do you know what year and make it is from? Hint: It is NOT an AD truck. Extra points if you figure it out without Google. As long as I'm messing with photos, here are a few more I shot. If you are in the area, stop by.
I cheated and "Googled" it before I saw the warning not to. I won't say what it is, though. Does it have the correct paint scheme and tapestry interior? What about the matching handbag, raincoat and umbrella that came with the car? Andy
It's a pink 1956 Dodge ' La Femme ' sedan of course ~ they actually thought they'd make a killing selling these ~
Nate is real close. It is a '55 (first year) La Femme, not a '56 (last year). The colors and interior are correct, but the purse, raincoat and umbrella are long gone. Owner says they are made from unobtainium. Here is a picture of the interior, and yes "It is a Hemi", although only 270". And those of you with sharp eyes will notice the Holley carb with electric choke as being non-stock.
I recall Pontiac did something similar with a fem firebird in the '70's. A baby blue thing Don't remember what they called it, but it was really "special", kind like a Mary Kay car. Jim
