Im currently interested in buying a very nice 52 two ton truck with 20 inch widow maker split rims on it. The fronts are a 5 lug wheel. Im wondering if anyone knows of a modern one piece 19.5 inch rim that would fit this truck. Then i could run modern tube less tires and be a little safer as well. I know several folks that have been bit by these through the years. Thanks Jake
Seems like they used to put 19.5", 5 lug wheels on a few motor homes. Probably hard to find. May have to use a custom wheel manufacturer. Like Stockton Wheel. You might try the forum at the "American Historical Truck Society". American Truck Historical Society Steve.
Head over to Login To: OldGMCtrucks.com Discussion Boards and ask GiantMountainClimber. He knows these larger trucks and what wheels they use well. Many others there do too.
Modern Dodge Ram pickups have 20", 5-lug steel spare wheels. Not sure of bolt circle, hub diameter, or offset as it pertains to your application though. They look >exactly< like this (albeit 6-lug, sans hubcap-clips) 20" steel wheel.
