3 speed to Muncie 4sp

Hi and great to find this Forum!! I have removed my 6cyl 3 speed on the column and am putting in a 350 crate motor but want to put in a Muncie 4speed on the floor with keeping the bench seat, Any advice to give me and is this an easy change over as far as the transmission?? Thanks

I just changed out a 71 C10, with a 250 6cly with a 3speed,with an 86 monti-carlo SS 305.I used the orginal 3speed trans.I installed a hurst comp plus floor shifter and keeped the factory beence seat.Hurst has a large selection of shift bars and handles to fit your app. If you have any problem with this swap,E-mail me at [email protected]...I would be glade to help.

did it mess with your cluch.? I got a 350 in mine but not to happy on my high rpm at 65mph I need more gears how do i go about it.?

brad do you still have the stock trans and is it an opendrive trans???
