    Hi everyone....

Looking for a photo or 2 of the accelerator linkage.....firewall to carb for a 250 in-line 6 to a SB Rochester. The engine is in a 66 that I'm about ready to fire up.....it's been in storage for ~ 5 yrs.....any advice on do's and don'ts

    Thanks,

    1. Clean the carb
    2. Change oil
    3. Change fuel filter
    4. remove plugs and spray WD-40 in the cylinder
    5. Manually turn the crank
    6. Charge battery

All I can offer is this piece of tidbit...

Don't start up IN the garage.... the wife didn't find the exhaust smoke as amusing as I did...

Great advice...Actually heard of someone doing something similar and ended up burning his house down....my wife has already instructed me to pull it out into the driveway...and I've got a fire extinguisher handy!!
