1966 GMC truck parts or info wanted!

I have a 66 GMC truck 1 1/2 ton restoration in progress. I have hood issues and am looking for a replacement in nice condition. I also am trying to locate info on / or a replacement crankcase ventilation filter for the big block V6 motors. It was a paper filter approximately 2 in. OD X 4 in. length. Need a thermostat water entry neck as well for the 351E V6 motor. Is there anyone with advice or help in finding such items......help is needed!

welcome to the forum, good luck finding a good hood, several of us have been down that road, they all like to rust out in the rear corners near the cowl, or have been beat up. No good aftermarket replacments yet either unless you dont mind fiberglass.

Thanks for the welcome! I have (2) hoods which have nose problems but not unusalble for the rear structure. Found a site within a couple of hours from me with some hoods. I'll let you know if something of interest develops!

is yours a full length hood or a shorty?
