    Hi Guys

I just got a new fuel pump and filter for my 66 Chevy C10. I'm can't decide where to place the fuel filter, before or after the pump?

My mind says before, to prevent dirty getting to the pump, but I have read that many says it has to be after, and also seen someone saying that a mechanical pump should not be installed pre-filter.

What do you do?, what's the right way, and why?

    Thanks in advance...

I have never had or seen a problem installing them either way although I have heard of people debating on which side to put them...Big Tim
