Forum Guru's and all interested parties - at least those with a rim stash.

I have one rim and need to find a match. The specs are as follows

    15 inch
    5 1/2 width
    6 lug
    6 clips on raised areas
    4 slots around perimeter
smooth center curve - no step or double center curve

I've been looking for a couple of years and haven't found one yet.

Here's a link to some pictures of the rim.

    Any help / leads appreciated.

I'm headed down to my in-laws' farm next weekend. I remember coming across a few 15" wheels while I was searching for a 16". I'll see what I can dig up.

    Vintage Wheels

Some time ago (years ?) I posted about a guy near Mojave , Ca. who has a boatload of old wheels & sells them affordably .

I don't know where this post is but you should be able to find it .

Take good well lit pix of what you need & post 'em here and in any communication to anyone you ask ~ have a high contrast tape measure lain across the rim to show exactly what it is you're looking for .

Thanks Nate, I'll see if I can find the post. I don't know how to put photos on the forum so I linked the original post to the photobucket site where I put some photo's of the rim and the tape as you suggest. If the link isn't working please let me know. and Thanks again.

Well, I spent the weekend down on the farm, but all of the 6-lug rims I found were 16-inchers. I'll keep an eye out for one, though.

FarmTruck, thanks for looking. Maybe someday I'll find a match. I appreciate the effort.

    Thanks

cmkruse, I was down at the Pomona swap this weekend and I saw quite a few sets of 15" with the smooth center. As a matter of fact I was in your same boat. I had a set of three 15" and needed one more. Took me while to get the fourth as no one wants to break up a set. From why I know they are car rims. Trucks only had three clips. I plan on going back to Pomona in October, could arrange something with you if you'd like. Do you want a 5th for a spare tire?

A tough 60 year old rim to find that is not bent or rusted.

We gotcha covered on a nice one that matches your specs.

You didn't indicate if you needed the square inside offset or the angled inside offset.

Shoot us a PM for more info.if the pictures match your rims.
