Anybody have any old pics of any standard oil trucks with the logo on the door. my truck was an old standard oil truck from 1952-1955 so I was told. would like to see what they looked like back in the day I did some searching but no luck.the factory color of my truck was baby blue but was painted red by oil co. Standard Oil Logo where many ? Hey Robert Maybe its posseble to track the pre-owners of your truck and ask them if they still have any pictures or maybe you can find some locall history with pictures in that particulair region from where the truck whas in use ? I would contact Standard Oil compagny and ask them if they have any historicall references for this epoke of Oil Compagny logo for the 50 tees ! I'am in So Cal Russ a little far unless you come to California for a vacation. again love the pics. the guy I got the truck from only had one pic of the logo on the door but it was very dark and hard to see. I wonder if my truck was a supervisors truck had the heater a spot light and a radio whitch I had restored and converted to 12volt. Robert
I have a book " 125 Years of ExxonMobil", which includes Standard Oil in the early years. I think the red, white, and blue oval with the torch in it is the one used around the 1950's. I'm trying to attach a picture. I worked 32 years for ExxonMobil, and that's the best I could find in my stuff.
