ok we fired up the sons 1951 today. He was planning a maiden voyage out on to the road. Well we fired it up and listened to it run a bit then he backed her out of the garage.. Only to notice a huge puddle of oil and more still a flowing. darned steel brake line had cracked right above the engine fitting. We got the old line punched back up through the funky oddball fitting and cleaned it out and made a clean cut on the old line and put it all back together. It is weeping just a bit. Ok My question is on the gage, is the fitting on the back an oddball too? Or can I just get an 1/8 inch replacement kit and swap it out to a copper setup?Or do I need to look for that same fitting that does not use a ferrell? Thanks
