The 1965 Chevy Custom Camper is on a lwb (127") C20 (2wd 3/4 ton) chassis with 8 on 6.5" lug pattern. Standard Custom Camper equipment, includes front sway bar, heavy-duty coil springs, auxillary rear overload springs and, in most cases, they had a 283 sbc and a Turbo HydraMatic 3-speed automatic transmission. They were typically well-optioned with the Custom Cab and Custom Comfort features, as well.

Aside from the "usual suspect" rust areas, there are many desireable options on the Custom Camper trucks, including body molding, stainless windshield trim, anodized aluminum grille, chrome front bumper, chrome rear bumper, power-assist steering, power brakes, A/C, emergency flashers, under-dash ash tray, etc.

Good luck and keep us posted on your prospecting.

From what can be seen from the photo you need to scarf it up quick, it won't be on the market very long at $1200.
