50 3100 Ft. End Parts

I have just installed a IFS on my 50 and have the complete ft end that was taken off gently and ready to be reinstalled. I also am replacing the stering colum and gear box so they are avalible.The truck org. had 88k miles on it.

Hey, I am wanting to do the same to my 51 3100. where did you purchase your IFS, I have seen them on ebay, but kinda rich on the price, I guess a man has to pay to play though, any thoughts on where the best place to purchase this let me know, [email protected], Later.

I did alot of research and found that Fatmans Fab. was the best out ther but not the cheapest. I all welded in real nice and everything seams to be going well so far . I'm planning on setting the cab back on next week and begin the stering linkage ,brakes,wiring,and everything else ,it will be a while before I get it on the road.The only detail that I didn't find in the instructions was the amoun of rake to set the top mounts but they were very helpful when I called to help.
