The wife and I went to two car shows today. The first one was in Kersey Colorado, the other was The Road Knight's show in Loveland Colorado.

This red 66 is the nicest 60-66 restoration I have ever seen. Saw this one at the Kersey Colorado car show. It is a very meticulously done Camper Special with factory 327 and automatic.

These were taken at The Road Knights show. A great turnout and a great variety of classics and Hot Rods.

Yes , that red one is really nice .

I like the '58 / '59 Task Force pair too .

Most folks do not realize that restoring is vastly more difficult than Hot Rodding .

Can't say that I would agree with that Nate. I've built both. Assuming the attention to detail is the same, the difficulty really depends on the level of Hot Rodding.

Let me give you an example:

I could have restored my stepside bed in one fourth the time it took me to widen the box 4 inches, fabricate wheel tubs, modify a rear roll pan, radius the rear bed rails, install the flush fit tail lights..... etc.​

It's all good, and it's all difficult.

The details are always the hardest part of resoration wheras the Hot Rod , you have no problem with making changes .

Of course , I don't do body & dolly works so it's easy for me to say this .

Good stuff, Lake. The photos of that '66 Chevy C20 Custom Camper, have been making the rounds on the various Chevy truck sites. Excellent example of a numbers restoration. Thanks for sharing.
