Is it possible to move my 292 L6 forward? I heard the motor mounts are different for it than the V engines? I think that would place my new trans shifter in the old hole. Thanks Matt

Thanks, Val. The shifter is probably 3" or so farther back than the original, so I hope it won't be that big an issue. The e brake will probably take the most attention. I'll keep you guys posted. Matt

Those look just like the ones i used on my 65. I am not real big on that gap, but mine are bolted in just like that. I had a heck of a time but I was able to get them flush using a ball joint press. Enjoy, Matt
