    My latest find a 63.

That is one clean, pretty truck!

    front disc brakes

I agree with all above. Rust bucket, I think you will really like the ease of attaching the front break kit to your truck anyway as opposed to trying to mate a new year brake system to it. Sure it costs a little extra, but you can have your truck going in a DAY.

    Major Cab Repair

Sorry, but I got them from Classic Parts back when they were Chevy Duty. It was the entire floor pan from the rocker all the way to the transmission hump, but that's been eight years ago. But it didn't help me much, they didn't fit and I had to cut them up basically turning them into patch...

    66 cab on 63 frame?

I think the only difference between a '66 and a '63 cab were the A-posts.

    not bad for $100 dollars

    Yes, yes, quite right.

    not bad for $100 dollars

Are you sure its a '64? It's got '66 Emblems on it. '64 would have had an I-6 or a 283, '66 was the first year for the 327. Also, since the emblems say 10, its not a 3/4 ton.... or it is and they pulled the 20 emblems off. I would say its probably a heavy-half. NICE find for $100 though!

    Major Cab Repair

Start at the cancer and work in. Cut out the rockers and the floor as far in as the rust goes. Then go to the other cab with the good floor and cut your replacement parts out of it. An air-powered saw and a wire-feed welder should be sufficient... that's what I used on mine. BTW, entire...

    Okay, now what?

Alright, got the visors on! I didn't have any wax, so I stuck the rods in the freezer for a few hours and blew a hair dryer on the visors just before I mated the two. Can't say it slipped on real easy, but it was much easier than before! Taking a break from installing the shocks. I'm sure...

    Okay, now what?

So my '65 did not sell. I still have a lot of parts for her that I bought but never installed simply because I had planned to sell it. But now that its going to still be mine for a while I'd like to get that stuff done. Questions: 1. How in the world do you get the sun visors onto the...

Alternate Power Plants in 60-66 C-10s?

Good metal work! Looks great! I saw a 1950 with a Mustang 5.0. It had a mustang IFS, so it must have been a bolt-on deal.

    Time to sell my '65

Reserve was $9,000. That's what she's insured for. I'm not letting her go for less that what I could get if she was wrecked.

Truck did not sell! Will try again later!

    Time to sell my '65

D, I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or sympathetic.... That's why I set the reserve. NO WAY she's going for only $4,500. If she doesn't sell I will just keep driving her and try again later!
