    Your rivets in your hinges are shot time for new ones.You have movement in the 58-59 hinges but not alot.Take the hood (open) move it up and down...

    I would look on ebay for the pan. I have a 59 gmc with a 270 six and a hydramatic trans and found my pan on there.
