I have NOT forgotten your request in looking for Long sides. The dust is settling on kitchen remodel and I may get time in early Jan to move that 47 into heated shop and take old bed apart and bed sills off. Lets hope for not a bunch of snow between now and then so it don't get buried in a snow pile.
I really enjoyed your how to assemble an AD post. It was an education for me. At first I thought the pics were out of order and after viewing them several times I realized they were in order. Your truck was in very good shape when you bought it, at least it looked that way from the pics. It was very informative and I learned a great deal from it. I am working on a 1950 3100. I didn't realize how much detail goes into restoring these old trucks properly. Good job on your restoration.
