    Lifting the 79

    Looking a putting a lift on my 79 K10. I am looking at either putting 33s or 35s on it depending on how much money i want to spend on tires:rolleyes:. I thought to clear 33s you need 4" of lift and 6' to clear 35s. Am i correct? Also if it makes a difference i will be installing 3/4 ton axles...

    Look at your RPO codes in your glovebox. You can also look on your dirver's door if you have a factory door.

    Door Alignment

    Do you have to slam the doors closed? If so,you might also want to check the door hinge pin bushings. Just grab the bottom of the door and see if you can pull it up and get any slop out of it. It shouldn't be a problem with only 35,00 miles, but its always safe to check
