    56 3200 with sbc and muncie m21

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT ANY 4 OR 5 SPEED REQUIRES A CROSS MEMBER AT ALL. tHE ORIGINAL GRANNY DIDN'T USE ONE,AND MY RICHMOND 5-SPEED HANGS THERE ALSO. i BELIEVE A MUNCIE IS SHORTER THAN A RICHMOND-SO A SUPPORT PROBABLY WOULDN'T BE USED.

parking brake The parking brake did not hook up ok. My talented brother remanufactured the ends of my original brake cables so they would match. He is very experienced, and he said that somebody could make them up at a cable shop. His work pretty good though.

I have seen used and nos ones for sale one e-bay many times-maybe check there. I never understood why anybody today wouldn't put in a stereo or something instead? Front Axle

if your axle is worn badly-you might also try another one. A lot of people toss these in favor of independent suspensions, and might even be free! I'm not an expert mechanic-but when I rebuilt my front, I probably should have gotten oversize king pins and had the holes reamed, but my front is...
