That's the conclusion I've come to also, after I posted that last message. Hope to hell I can send the 57 grille back and get $$$ refunded.

Replacing grille I'm not sure I understand. I'm putting a 57 grille back into a 57 pickup. The problem I'm having is getting the 55/56 grille out. The 57 grille should then just bolt right in, shouldn't it?

I have a 57 3100 that has a 55/56 grille. I bought a 57 grille to put in. But I can't find where the bottom of the grille is bolted on. Does the lower filler panel between the bumper and the grille have to come off? Anybody done this before? Or just taken the grille out of a 55/56 - it...
