I have heard the "add a voltage reducer" all over the place on the net. When I converted my 50 Chevy to 12 volt 12 years ago I had never heard about this reducer information so one never got added. Like I said that was 12 years ago and have never had one problem with my electrical system, maybe...

I'm in the middle of putting a 60 235 in my 53 GMC Suburban and was trying to figure out the front mount, those pictures help a lot. I bolted my 235 to the original GMC bellhousing and used the Chevy clutch. As for everything in the back it lines up just as it should.

There are several on here, I don't get on this one very often. If you go to 67-72chevytrucks.com there are lots of Spuds on there, tons from Boise area. They have all different years Chevy's on there too.

Some day I plan to but my 50 is in no condition to make that long of a trip. When I get it to that point I want to drive it up there.

Do you live in Lewistown? My1950 Chevy was sold new in Lewistown then moved down here in the early 60's. I have always wanted to go up there and see if the dealership is still around.

There is still snow on the Tetons, I don't ever remember a year when there was still snow up there in August. I can see them from my town.

When are you coming this way for Yellowstone? If it is this Saturday there is a car show starting at 4pm in Rigby, between Idaho Falls and Rexburg on HWY 20.
