putting a '60 235 in a '57 3200, what is needed to make the front mount work? Current 235 has side mounts. Thanks
I took a '57 side mount 235 and put it in my '48 front mount. I had to drill a couple of holes in the bottom flange of the timing cover plate. Our host sells a 235 front mount for a '47-'54. I don't know if the front cross member on your '57 is in the correct location and is predrilled for the front mount. There are some decent posts about this if you search our forum. Good luck.

If anyone is looking for these 235 front mounts, I have a few available from trucks I have parted out.
