The previous owner replaced the bed wood with pine that had soaked in linseed oil for 6 months. The bed's not pretty, but that's fine because I use the truck and don't want to worry about messing up the finish.
The front is lowered 2-1/2in. w/drop spindles and the rear 4in. w/lowering coils. The front coils are the originals and the ride is good. The wheels are 16in. smoothies. I added tabs for the original hubcaps and had the wheels powder-coated.
