I noticed it a month or so after the new upgrades. Seems like the carb is getting a lot of junk in it. Every time I take it off it has this jelly like stuff in it. I thought it might be the vent hose pulling some junk in.

It's a cheap hei unit that was on the truck when I got it. I have the vacuum hose connected to the left side of the carb...ported side I think.

new carpet/seats its been a while since I have posted an update, but in the past few months I have changed my seats to a 60/40 bench from a 98 Silverado, replaced my doors, replaced all the window and door seals, put carpet in, put a fuel cell under the bed, replaced my wiper blades/arms...

I'm not sure what the correct fluid is, but I have been told to use gear oil...:confused:
