door track window gap

I'm looking at purchasing two new door shells for my GMC truck. It's titled as a '72 but I'm not so sure everything on the cab is. Can anyone tell me the difference in the door shells between the '71 and '72? My old doors do not have the screw holes located at the base of the wing window but...
