1952 chevy truck 5 win spare tire mount design??

Thanks Bilbo, I sent a conversation on your page, considering I haven't been granted access to send private messages? Not sure, but I'll update my account soon with more info and pics ;) But I am definitely interested, sent my info to you and thanks for the help (Bilbo and ccharr). :)

Raphael, The pictures shown by Coilover at top of this page depict exactly what the spare rack I have looks like, installed. Note the indent in the fender to accommodate the tire when mounted. This is for a six lug wheel.

Correction... The spare rack I have is for a 3/4 ton truck. It stands only 8 1/2inches out from the bedside and the one for a 1/2 ton is about 11 1/2 inches. Sorry for the error.

Spare Tire Mount for a 1954 Chevy Short bed without the indented fender

Where did spare tires go when you have a Chevy 3100 1954 Short bed truck without having the indented rear fender?

Where they mounted inside the bed box, or were they located somewhere else?
