1954 GMC 248 6cyl

I'm looking for a 1954 GMC 248ci 6cyl. I'm restoring a 54 GMC 150. The truck had a later 235 chevy in it when I got it, and I'd like to get the correct 248 engine back in the truck.

I'm in the Mid-west. So would prefer something in the area.

If you don't have one, but would know where I could get one please let me know.

248 GMC engine and/or 4spd. trans.

I have a good running 1954 GMC 248 engine with or without 4 speed transmission and clutch for sale. Still currently in vehicle. Only change to stock that I am aware of is Petronics ignition module in the dist. Upstate NY area.

I'm not sure when I'll be out east next, but may be interested in your 248 if you still have it by the time I'm able to get out to the NY area.
