1955 ammeter

I noticed that ChevyDuty is offering an ammeter gauge for $54.95. his is listed as new. I did not see a core charge. Is this a new gauge or refurbished? Is there a core charge?

It is a new gauge, there is no need for a core.

RE: 1955 gas gauge

Does Chevy Duty sell new gas gauges for the 1955's I think I'm in need of a new one. The present one does not register correctly. When I'm on empty it says that i'm about an 1/8 full. I've tried different sending units for that truck.
