1957 3600 8 lug wheels

hey all ,, doing my 3600 and want to change to 5 lug wheels ,, at present it has 8 lug ,, does anyone know if the hubs on a 3100 and 3600 swap ??? im thinking the stub will be bigger on the 3600 ?? have access to a 3100 axle and hubs if I want ?? im mainly changing so i can put discs on front axle ......

They do not interchange. Putting a complete 3100 front axle on a 3/4 ton truck is a fairly simple job.

yea but where I am we have very expensive certification laws if I do that which im going to do just not tell anyone hsahahha ,, we have shitloads of weird car laws and rules here
