1959 chevy/gmc front hub

Hello everyone,

I recently had my front bearing go out in the middle of Yellowstone. I took it apart and found the outside hub was reamed by the shattered bearing. To make matters worse it is a six lug hub. FWIW I was using the upgraded bearings-just bad luck. The spindle is still in great shape.

Do any of you who have upgraded your front ends have the old hubs lying around? Or, does anyone know if I could have the original hub sleeved? If you want to email directly just make the subject line plain- [email protected]

Question part the second,

Does anyone know the years that front hub was used? At least 55-59 I know and possibly as late as 62. Any earlier?

The same bearings were used in '53, so it MAY be the same hub.
