I have three Hoods correct for the 1960 and 1961 Chevy trucks.

1960-61 Chevy hood is the style with the eyebrows or sometimes called the jet Pods. These are hard to find and there are not any reproductions being made. I have 3 of these hoods ranging in condition from "good" , "very good" to "near perfect".

    1) $65 "good" condition.
Description: will need to be sandblasted and re-primed. Has repairable rust-thru on lower edge front/corners. Has a ding/dimple the size of a silver dollar - easy hammer out repair. Otherwise in very good condition and sits square and straight when mounted.

    2) $155 "VERY Good" condition.
Description: will need to be sandblasted and re-primed. I found NO notable dings/dents or rust thru on this hood. Has two mini hood (6") scoops with circle holes (4") for air flow. Look nice, but not original. Appears they were created to let heated engine air flow onto windshield as an additional window defogger idea. Could be left as is or circle holes filled. Otherwise in very good condition and sits square and straight when mounted.

    3) $250 "Near Perfect" condition.
Description: this could simply be scuffed and painted if desired or could be sandblasted and re-primed depending upon your preference. Has a ding/dimple the size of a fifty-cent piece - easy hammer out repair. I found NO other notable dings/dents or rust thru on this hood. Otherwise in near perfect condition and sits square and straight when mounted.

Because of size, I will not ship. Hood will need to be picked up at my southern Minnesota location or you arrange for shipping carrier and I will assist.

I have described these to the best of my ability. It is assumed to obtain a "show quality' hood condition would require block sanding, and other preparation skills.

I also have a couple of 62-66 hoods ranging in price from $75 - $160.

In addition, I have an inventory of parts for the 60-66 pickups if you need something else. I continue to part out 60-66 trucks, so let me know what you need and I will try to find it for you.

    Kilroy,

Currently I am out of stock on automatic steering columns. I will be parting out more trucks and should have a couple more in the next couple of months. This may not be the best timings for you, but if necessary, please check back with me in late March or April.

Do you have a drivers side "closing panel" for a '65 C10? I didn't know what it was, but dvalentine showed me a picture - if you look in the wheel well back toward the door there should be a rubber fender seal. The seal is held to the truck by a piece of metal called a "closing panel" in the parts book. I need the drivers side piece and some retainers, if you have them.

    There is a picture here:

    JustaTruck,

Thank you for your interest in my 1960-66 truck parts. It is very much appreciated!

Yes, I have fenderseal parts. I do have the closing panel. I would need to check my inventory to pick out a nice one for you. I believe I have two near perfect, cancer-free one. (As you know, finding rust-free ones is difficult to do.) I may still have a pair of sandblasted and painted black set, but need to check if those were sold yet.

I will be away from computer most of the day, however I can be reached via cell phone later.

    Thanks,
    Brian
