1962 Automatic trans. conversion

I recently bought a 62' Chevy and I would like to install a Turbo 350 transmission if it will fit relatively easily. Besides the routine linkage, speedo, and driveshaft, what modifications to the cab floor and transmission mount are required for this truck?

You will have to make up a crossmember for the transmission.Just get some 1x2 steel tubing and weld up a mounting pad for the pad to sit on.
