1963 Suspension

What are the differences between the 63 GMC and Chevy suspension systems? I am thinking of using the suspension from the GMC 1/2 ton shortbed frame I have for my '57 1/2 ton shortbed. I see a lot of kits listed for the Chevy, but no mention of the GMC application. Are they the same or what?

The parts interchange just fine between the GMC and chevy. yhe differance is in some options and name plates. Kilroy was here

Great, I will be doing some measuring over the weekend to see if I can just swap my '57 body to the '63 Frame.

the differance will be more profound from swapping the 57 unto 63. Im not sure if wheel base is same. And If cab mount points are the the same. measure twice and lift once right Kilroy

The difference in wheelbase is 1 inch, so its not of any concern, as far as cab mounts go, thats no big deal either, as these things can be changed with a little welding and drilling. I will be checking the track width, and if this is close, I may do the swap.
