1966 C10 V.I.N. Number

Where can I find the V.I.N Number on a 1966 Chevrolet Custom Cab pickup? Also, any place on the web where I can decode the number? Any help will be appreciated.

I only know of two places to find the VIN:
* Stamped on a metal plate attached to the top front of the driver's side door frame.
* Stamped on top of the left (driver's side) frame rail, near the steering gear. However, this stamped number may only contain the sequential serial number.

Check out www.classictruck.com, I used it on my 62'Chevy. Just click on "Vin Decoder". Type in your vin number, and thats it.
