1966 rear end

i just bought a 1966 c20 fleetside and i wanted to convert the lug pattern from 8 to 5 or 6. i am going to change the front brakes to disk with a 5 or 6 lug pattern, but is there a conversion for the rear end. maybe someone could tell me of another rear end that would fit the truck or a place i could get a conversion.

You will need to find a 63-70 rear axle if you want to switch to 6 lug.If you are going to a 5 lug pattern then you will need a axle out of 71 or 72 1/2 ton.You also might try http://www.classicperform.com they do have some adapter kits that might work.
