1967-1972 body on a 1978 C 30

I like to build a 1970 C20/2wd fleetside body on a 1978 chassis C30/2wd.
Is there somebody out there that has done this swop before???
Is this possible and what are the problems you run in to.

I havnt done this swap exactly before, however i have a 71 and a 78 and everything looks like it will swap over, to the naked eye that is. I do know the weel base is the same. It should probably work though.

Body Swap

Nook,
My neighbor put a 70 body on a mid 70's frame on a 1/2 ton and everything fit from body to frame however there was a larger gap between the bed and the cab when completed. Gap went from @ 1 1/8" to @ 3 inches. FYI.
