2 piece driveshaft removal

I need to replace the driveshaft bearing on my truck. I know I need to take the driveshaft into a machine shop to get it pressed on, but how do I remove it? I've taken off the rear piece, but it still has the molded plastic retainer type U-joints on the front section. Would it be possible to get the U-joint out using a C-clamp or should I try to pull the slip yoke out of the transmission?

If I remember it correctly , all you need to do is pull off the back driveline , slip that off the front one, unbolt the two bolts on the bearing support and then it should just slide out of the tranny (towards the back axle) like any other auto trans...then take it to a place and have the bearing pressed on.. make sure you mark your drivline before you take it all apart so you can keep your drivline balance right when you put it back together (ubolts in relation to the other one something about them having to be in "phase"
