318 v8?

Has anyone heard or know someone who has put a 318 v8 and tranny into a c-10? I have a well built 350, but it's not ready for install yet, but I do have an old 89 dodge truck with a good 318 with an old 4sp attached, and cannot help but wonder if it would work. Any knowledge would be appreciated.

I had a friend that installed a cummings diesel into a 72 K10. The 318 should fit under the hood with no problem but where you will run into problems is motor mounts and tranny crossmember. This will all be custom and as long as you can handle this kind of fabrication then go for it.

You also might run into some problems if you have a low hump cab and need a little more room for the tranny.
