Got the truck to stay on when in neutral but once I go into first shuts off what can it be

does it shut off in second or just first

Reason it was shutting off I had the vacuum line going to the carb loose after that fix runs good thanks

Good thing you have managed to figure out what's wrong.
I just did try to set up electric dog fences on my own but I haven't tried to test it yet since my beagle is still asleep.
