62 GMC 2500 Heater

Starting to restore a 62 GMC 2500 and looking for a heater/defroster for it . Are there other Chev or GM 's that would fit or is a universal available that would be more efficient. ? I found one universal listed on Classic Trucks web site but it show out of stock. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

If you can afford it and are not doing a Restoration , Vintage Air makes some nice kits .

The original heater /defroster works great but Hot Rods need AC too , non ? .
