'63 Fleetside

    i checked the gap and all were at .035

    My brother had a 63 fleet. Great truck. Inline six, four speed with granny. He dropped a 350 in it. I believe he used the same flywheel from the six, may be wrong there. As for the ignition, though I've had problems with my unit, I'd still recommend - for ease of use - the Pertronix Ignitor electronic ignition conversion kit. For the brief time I had mine working, the truck ran GREAT. Somehow, I lost my 12 volts at the distributor, and now I have to work that out. My wires are all pretty nasty and old, so I'm looking at a new harness for the engine compartment. Here's the address for pertronix: http://www.pertronix.com./ignition/index.htm
