63 GMC axle splines??

I just bought a used POWR-LOK posi unit for the DANA 44 in my 63 1/2 ton GMC wide side. Someone here told me I might need new axles to use it. The posi has 19 splines, any idea what my truck has...I don't want to pull an axle just yet.

Well just got back from a long at sea period and I decided to "get back into it". pulled my axle and what do you know 30 splines... so got to replace some gears inside the posi.

Parts Mike was very helpful with all my axle questions... I will be picking up the 2.73's and posi pieces from him.

Any body know how to change the oil on these 305 V6's??
