64 rearend

hi there just purchased my 64 c10 custom, i'm pretty sure it has a 3.73 gear in it. Is it possible to change out to a 3.08 ring & pinion, and how can i tell if it's a 3 series,4 series,etc.

Yes, you can easily exchange your 3.73 ring and gears with a 3.08 gear set. The setup requires precision adjustments so you may want a rear end speciality shop do it for you. It's not too expensive and takes about 2 hrs.
I upgraded mine to a 3.43 posi.
