'71 to '66 susp swap 3/4 ton ?

Has any one ever swapped the frontend from another year 3/4 ton to a 1966 3/4 ton? I know it's a piece of cake in a 1/2 ton, but can it be done on a 3/4 ton? I would like to swap my ram power steering for a hydro gear box, and I would love disc brakes.

Also, can later model power brake boosters be adjusted to fit my '66 without reinventing the wheel or spending 350 bucks on a conversion kit?

I have a 64 3/4 ton that I just got an entire front cross member out of a 79 one ton. I haven't tried to put in in yet but from what I understand the 3/4 tons have to have the whole thing swapped to get disc brakes.
