72 chevy grill

Hey guys,
Im getting ready to finally paint my 72. Its been a three year project. My front outer shell for the grill isnt a hundred percent, I was wondering if anybody had any luck painting the aluminum shell.

Check with your local semi truck dealer. The new fad i s to paint the polished aluminum fuel tanks that come on Peterbilt trucks. I work at a peterbilt dealership and we send them out to a local paint shop. They hold realy nice. Truck dealerships are a good place to look for stainless hardware to.
