88 14 bolt in 72 2500??? will it fit?

i have a 72 2500, i was wondering if a 14 bolt from a 88 1 ton will fit without welding and if this is a good buy for my truck, its just to hold it for a few years till i do 4x4 conversion.

here are pics of the rear i am considering, what do you guys think? your the pro's
