Additional water ports on the intake

My Performer intake manifold has four Corner Water Ports
two extra water ports at the rear of the manifold, what or how can these rear ports be used to keep the engine running cooler, can the heater hose return be connected there? of what? any suggestions would be greatful.

On the racecar we would use a cross over on the two rear ports for better circulation on the rear cylinders.3/8 npt -6 male on both sides of the manifold with 3/8 braided hose with -6 females.But that was for racing.I do'nt feel its needed for your application.It wouldn't hurt it tho.I don't think you want your heater hose hooked up there. The water temp at that position may be too hot.

Your new engine

Hey Steve,
Have you ever posted any pics of your new engine? I would love to see how it fits in the engine bay. How close is it to the firewall? How close is it to the radiator? Do the headers clear the steering box ok? I'm thinking about changing over from the original front motor mounts to the side type that you are using and was hoping to see if it would fix all my clearance troubles if I do something like what you have done.

Posting some pic soom

I in the middle of some special items not truck related. However, will be posting some better pictures soon, still finishing up some wiring issues.
Waiting on some bulkhead connections that are covered once installed for the Accessory and BAT connections. Did not like connecting seven separate wires behind the ignition switch on each of those terminals.
