WIX / NAPA Filters FWIW ; WIX makes all of NAPA's filters so simply dropping the first digit off the P/N gives you the correct NAPA P/N for that filter . I forget with one but one of the major DIY autoparts chain stores sells WIX filters to the public @ jobber prices to do call around . Lastly , don't EVER buy fram brand air filters ! . they're crap through and through , always too restrictive and cause all manner of wierd running problems . Not even FREE ! " No filter at all is better than a dirty filter " .
