HOWDY...well I got my "projects" home now I need a "bible" to sort out just exactly what I am doing.so... who's got the best books?? something like "the complete idot's guide to restoring your 66 chevy truck".I am reasonably sure I will be able to write something like this when I got finished. (like that will ever happen) any clues??

thanks gang...desperado.. (bruce) :0) +

The shop manuals and assembly manual are the "Bibles" of my project. Buy them here at Chevy Duty! Truck mags and catalogs can help a lot too.

I agree, a shop manual and few magazines tech articles are worth their weight in gold.

You will definitely need a shop manual so buy the original Chevy one and don't count on the Chiltons, etc. Also I got a pretty good book at the library entitled something like "Restoring Your Chevrolet Truck". It gave a good overview of the restoration process and some good hints that you won't find in the shop manual.

Good luck!!!
