Another overdrive

Back again with another O.D. question.
Were the OD units in 50's sedans the same as the units in 50's pick ups? Seems my first tranny deal didn't pan out, so now I'll have to shift gears and expand my search. Not many units in the northeast...

Yep the same. The only big change to the chevy OD trans was in the mid sixties when the Saginaw 3 speed OD came out. This is much more heavy duty, and alot harder to find. Chris
