I would use a 57. Not a smart a$$ answer just that most are going the other way so a factory set up should not be hard to find. Check with Joe at Dead Zone or get a Hemmings and look up the antique junkyards.

look in 'the old car manual project dot com' and copy and print out the parts diagrams, then begin hitting up the older Task Force Hot Rod guys, they'll usually have all the parts in a box, no one wants them so don't pay much and use the saved images to ensure you get all the parts .
